In January, there will be dinosaurs in Ocala. Fortunately, the dinosaurs won’t be able to do you any harm. The creatures will merely be on display at the Discovery Center. Starting January 18th, the Discovery Center will feature an exhibit known as the Dinosaur Revolution.
About the Dinosaur Revolution
Between January 18th and March 28th, the Discovery Center will be home to many prehistoric creatures. The exhibit will have several dinosaur-themed attractions, including a maze. Guests can walk through the maze and explore a world that existed thousands of years ago. You and your kids can learn interesting facts about prehistoric creatures and have a close-up look at fossils.
On the opening day of the exhibit, there will be refreshments, face painting, arts and crafts, and reptile meet and greets. The festivities take place between 10am and 5pm. Admission to the Discovery Center on any day is $8 or $28 for a family of four people. If you have a yearly membership, you don’t need to pay for admission.
While at the Discovery Center, you can check out all of the other exciting exhibits. There are planetarium shows on Saturdays, which tend to be fun for the whole family. If you’re on vacation in Ocala with your family, the Discovery Center is the perfect attraction.
