Although Ocala is a city, it’s very rural. The city is unlike any other place in the United States. You can find a great deal of activities, dining, and entertainment. Yet, you also are surrounded by the farm and outdoor culture. To experience some of that culture, you should attend one of the Ocala events.
The 2nd Annual Ocala Outdoor Expo puts the local culture proudly on display. Whether you live in a small community in Florida or are from a big metropolitan area, you can enjoy visiting Ocala and attending this event.
What is the Ocala Outdoor Expo?
The Ocala Outdoor Expo is a relatively new event. It celebrates everything that locals love - the great outdoors. Wind-FM, K-Country, Phillips CJDR, and Agricon Equipment Company all came together to put on this interesting event. During the event, there will be over 65 vendors who all love the outdoors. Last year, there were more than 3,000 attendees. If things go as planned, this year’s event will be even larger.
This event is free to all who attend. However, there is a suggested donation of $1. The money goes to the Boy Scouts of America.
If you want to attend, mark your calendar for Saturday August 17th. The fun starts at 9am and ends at 2pm. It takes place at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion, which has been home to many other fun events.
