What is the Ocala Christmas Parade?
The Ocala Christmas Parade is an event that begins at 5:30pm and ends at 8:30pm. As a free event for everyone, the parade is a great way to get in the holiday spirit.
For more than 60 years, this parade has been taking place in the city of Ocala. It’s brought to you by the Friends of the Christmas Parade, who work hard to create an exciting annual event. In addition to making the parade as incredible as possible, they also strive to give back to the community. Everyone who is involved in the parade planning does so on a volunteer basis.
The parade is one of the largest nighttime parades in Central Florida. This year, the event’s theme is “A Small Time Christmas.” In the past years, the turnout has been large. If you haven’t yet made it to the parade, you should plan on doing so this year.
