About the Grant Annual Seafood Festival
For 54 years, the Grant Seafood Festival has been bringing notoriety to the town of Grant. This year, the event will take place on February 29th and March 1st. On the 29th, the fun kicks off at 9am and ends at 7pm.
Admission and parking for the festival is free. There will be over 125 artists showcasing their crafts, as well as many live entertainers performing for visitors. As you might expect, the highlight of the festival is the seafood. Every year, the festival features some of the freshest and most delicious seafood in the area.
The whole festival is run by volunteers. Even the cooks and servers are volunteering their time; it’s a true community effort. All of the money raised during the festival goes towards the community of Grant. For instance, some of the funds go to the local library, a scholarship fund, and the Historical House.
