There are always fun events going on near Vero Beach. On February 8th, you should take a short drive to Port St. Lucie. While there, you can participate in a Mardi Gras Celebration like no other.
About the Mardi Gras Celebration
Known as the “Let the Good Times Roll” event, this Mardi Gras party is one that you don’t want to miss. Everything kicks off at 3pm, but the fun continues well into the night. The event doesn’t end until 9pm. If you want to continue the fun longer, you can always take the party to a local bar.
The event takes place in Tradition Square. While you might not think of Mardi Gras as kid-friendly, this event is fun for the whole family. There will be live musical performances throughout the festival. While you listen to the tunes, you can walk around and check out what the vendors have to offer. They will be selling arts, crafts, and other souvenirs.
Children can participate in one of the many children’s activities. But everyone in the family can enjoy the King and Queen costume contest. When you get hungry, you can choose from one of many food trucks. They’ll have something for everyone.
