Where to Go in Vero Beach: Peterson Groves

If you find yourself wondering where to go in Vero Beach, you can stop wondering. There are many unique attractions and events in the area. Peterson Groves is one hidden gem of the area that belongs on your to-do list. Learn all about the Groves and what’s waiting for you on your Vero Beach vacation.

About Peterson Groves

For 106 years, Peterson Groves has been in operation as a farm. In the early 1900s, the farm was home to many of the same buildings that are on-site today. The same cow pastures you can see today were around decades ago.

In addition to growing fresh food, the farm also has many animals. Visitors can get close to the pigs, chickens, rabbits, and goats. If you purchase food at the store, you can feed the animals by hand.

While you visit Peterson Groves, you should have your camera handy. There are multiple photo opportunities. The grounds are large and you are welcome to wander around and explore. In fact, you might come across one of the kids who grew up on the farm. They’re always happy to share their experiences.

If you want some fresh food, you can pick up some fruit or vegetables from a roadside stand. They are not certified organic suppliers, but they do follow organic practices. Depending on the season, you can buy mangos, peas, lychees, or watermelon.

The farm is open seven days a week. If you’re on a Vero Beach vacation, you should take the time to tour this historical farm. You should also take the time to contact us at the Vero Beach Inn and Suites.
