About the Light Show
During most of the year, Tara Plantation is a beautiful law office building. But it transforms into a Christmas wonderland once Thanksgiving comes along. For over 28 years, the Grall family has decorated their building to the extreme. It’s like something out of a movie.
When Tara Plantation decorates for Christmas, they go all out. They use over 300,000 lights to adorn the estate. The lawn becomes studded with animated holiday figurines. They decorate with every type of holiday decoration you can imagine.
Typically, the incredible display starts on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It continues until New Year’s Eve. If you want to see it for yourself, you can view it between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
You should be aware that you won’t be alone. As one of the more popular Vero Beach Holiday events, Christmas at Tara Plantation is popular. People drive down the long driveway to view the light show.

Every year, about 30,000 visit make the drive. The driveway is often filled with cars that are bumper-to-bumper. However, the holiday joy in the air makes the line pleasant.
